I know I haven't written anything practically all month and I am sorry. Trying to balance the comedy thing with the day job thing with the family thing. I am working on more shows to fill my schedule in the near future so keep an eye out for that. The main thing I wanted to say today is:

The showcase show at Sauk Valley Community College was a success! The college raised over $600 and received many bags of food to help benefit the food pantry. I want to thank Nichole in student activities and everyone at the college (including the little readheaded girl who did the lighting and now I can not remember her name for the life of me!) I also want to thank all of you who made it to the show.
The great part about a showcase like this is that you don't go to see one certain comedian. It is not a George Carlin show. It is not a Larry the Cable Guy show. It is not even a John Vorhees show. It was a show to showcase five different comedians each with their own style of humor and degree of experience. We definately touched on many, many topics. The audience got to experience a diverse span of comic styles last night in a matter of two hours. There was something for everyone.
